Also ... early in the war ('41-'43) all 1/4 ton trailers were made by either Willys or Bantam with minor differences, but basically interchangeable parts. Many early ones went through rebuilds to strengthen, so it's hard to tell without a nameplate. The most visible differences: Bantam had bolts on the shocks, Willys had cotter keys, Bantam had a weld in the middle of the axle tube, willys didn't. Late in the war, there were a dozen diferent mfgrs.
