I have two bantam trailers. 1 Civilian, 1 military. I've not done the bearings on them but was also under the assumption that these were standard bearings used on the model 25/27 Dana frontend. The hubs appear to be the same and I would be VERY surprised if the military had spec'd different bearings/seals between the jeep and trailer.

: There were many manufactures of these
: trailers. Bantam ( I think thats right) was
: one. I have a Dunbar (another brand) for
: sale and I also have a Vietnam era M-416
: Mutt trailer that was made by the American
: Air Filter Corporation. Anyway if yours has
: round fenders it's probably an
: M-100 1/4 ton trailer (the M-416 trailer has
: square fenders) As for parts, I had always
: understood that the hubs, bearings, seals
: etc. were the same as early military Jeep.
: Unless someone else has better info.,I would
: start contacting military Jeep parts houses,
: try a web search. There are many parts
: houses that sell nothing but military parts.
: Good Luck.
