The FC design is perfect for working some gas into the carb while working on the fuel mixture: My warning is, do not! I say NOT use a McDonalds cup or other wax/paper cup for holding gas, while above a FC engine! My 1959 FC170 flatbed ran a-dry up in Beaver Creek Colorado some years ago and I used a paper cup to provide the fuel as I so gently tapped on my Holley 600, and BOOM! Be careful of the FC engine compartment! My eyebrows took fire and I would like to hear other "danger" stories on this classic WEB site! FC Owners- U-NITE!
