That's most likely the weekend we'll be out there.
We fly into Phoenix every year around that to head over to Dender Guitar in Scottsdale. That's where the Road Trip kickoff party is for the Mopars At The Strip event. That is always on a Thursday. We do a banzai run to Las Vegas with a caravan of about 40 old Mopar muscle cars. Then we spend the weekend in Las Vegas at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a weekend filled with car show, drag racing, dyno pulls, the Jeep Off Road Challenge and various other activities.
I am good friends with the event promoter. I don't know what all activities y'all have at the Round-Up but I'm sure that if y'all wanted to relocate the Round-Up to Las Vegas, the Mopar faithful would lovw seeing these cool old trucks. There's always some cool Jeeps that show up for the event and a whole bunch that go on the Jeep Off Road Challenge deal.
Food for thought anyway...
