I'm wanting to shave my door moldings on my 92 accord, but am not sure how to go about it. I was thinking of just taking them off and filling them with fiberglass or bondo, but am not sure if over time it may crack or not. I've also heard of people welding a strip of sheet metal across the door where the molding used to be, but I can't weld and am sure a bodyshop would charge me an arm and a leg for the labor. Please give me some info on what you would do or HAVE done and how its worked out for you. Thanks.
