Posted by Max Roach Secondly, I have been looking for in-depth explainations of the origins of the specific kata sets in Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu. One of my students asked me casually one evening about the history of other kata sets after I had been explaining the origins of Seiza No Bu and Tatehiza no Bu. Although I have a small mountain of books concerning Iaido and Japanese history, thus far been unable to locate any exact info regarding the who, what, where and when regarding the formation of: Batto Ho no Bu, Batto Ho no Oku Iai, Tachiwaza no Bu, and Okuiai Iwaza No Bu. If you could point me in the right direction of some reading or if anyone can tell me themselves, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you for your time and consideration. Aslo, if anyone is ever interested in practicing Iaido or Aikido when in Salt Lake City, UT Feel free to drop by our Dojo. Check out our site at www.utahaikikai.com It is our first stab at an Iaido page and will soon be completely reworked from the ground up. But it will serve for those who want to contact us or drop by for a visit. Tahnks again for all you do. Sincerely, Max Roach
