You could also try going through local kendo dojos, the All US Kendo site is http://www.kendo-usa.org/
For at least thirty years, kendo sensei have been concerned about kendo loosing connection with its roots and becoming shinaido (shinai is the saftey weapon). The kendo federation has been pushing yudansha to do iai as part of their training, so there are alot of dojo's like mine that are kendo dojo's that also have a iai practice once a week.
Also, a kendo dojo may have knowledge or connections with people who do iai in the area.
Another option is trying at Sword Forum International. They have a sparring partner locator forum on it. You just put in a location and martial art, and if someone in the same area does that m.a. they contact you.
