Posted by Carl Long Jikishin Kai International 2004 Seminar All those wishing to attend should contact Long Sensei ASAP for details and arrangements. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be training in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu, Tameshigiri, MJER Katachi, Shindo Muso Ryu Jojutsu, and Kenjutsu. On Sunday July 4th, the morning activities will include a Suemonogiri Seminar and a Iaido/Suemonogiri Taikai. Sunday afternoon will be reserved for a Budosai (Martial arts festival). Participating dojo are welcome to perform a short budo demonstration of the other martial arts they practice. All proceeds of the Taikai and Budosai will benefit St. Judes Childrens Hospital. This will be the final Gasshuku in the USA for at least two years. Next years Gasshuku will be held in Musashi Village, Japan during the last week of April or the first week of May, 2005, hosted by Miura Takeyuki Hidefusa, Hanshi. Shimabukuro Masayuki Hidenobu, Hanshi will be holding the USA Gasshuku for all JKI members on July 2 to 4, 2004. The event will be held and sponsored by the Eastern USA Hombu Dojo located in Kingston Pa. The venue for the event will be Wilkes University, Wilkes Barre, PA. USA.
