Posted by Len Pellman Since the seitei kata are now the principle techniques for presentation in AAU iaido competition, and Shimabukuro Shihan is technical advisor to the AAU and its judging committe (as well as the author of the AAU rules for iaido competition), my guess is that the new seitei kata will eventually be added. With iaido competition still in its infancy at the AAU, it may be awhile before this happens, however. That's my personal guess for what it's worth.

Jerry, I heard that three new seitei kata" were added by the ZNKR. I have not heard any plans announced about these new kata, but I have suspicions . . . .
