I've been having a tough time lately, maybe someone could give me some advice if they have the time. I cant deciding weather it is appropriate or not for a religious person to even pick up a sword. If the act of just holding one is in itself an aggresive act?
I seem to be torn between two worlds right now and I can't seem to come close to a solution. I've been practicing martial arts for around 5 years or so and now lately more then ever I just cant seem to make a connection between eastern martial arts and my western religion. It almost feels as if I'm living two lives. I would never even think of killing anything, let alone a person, yet I pick up a sword everyday and train. This has been bothering me for quite some time and I just cant seem to come up with any answers. This world is a confusing place, lol.
