I have found a weapons instructor here in Las Vegas. He doesn't hold a dan ranking in Iai, but studies under a master who has taught him the Military Kata. He seems quite well versed in sword technique and does hold advanced dan ranking in several martial arts; shorin Ryu, Shotokan, the Russian open hand styles, and is certified as a weapons sensei, having studied in Japan.
If I can only train once a week, aouside his usual class schedule, what would be a reasonable compensation for his time?
