He was honest, so it was enough. She walked in silence for a time. Even walking in silence, Black Angel seemed content in Mugen's presence. Her steps were steady. Her ears swiveled slightly when he asked if she was hungry. The white fae glanced over briefly and finally shrugged, though didn't immediately give a definitive answer.
Black Angel wasn't much of a hunter. Eventually, she caught the scent of nearby deer as well, but shook her head. She never did have a taste for the creatures. She was more of a rabbit type wolf and was always good at rooting out two or three from their hole. Of course, she voiced this, "Food doesn't sound like a terrible idea. Though I know of a few rabbit warrens in the area if you care to test your luck with the little beasts."
