The wolf-dog chuckled and nodded, "No, it isn't so bad if it means getting the attention you want." His large paws shifted slightly as she drew closer with her own bow. It didn't make him uncomfortable, but it did make him question his presence of still being here. Suddenly, it occured to him that he had no intention of stopping when she spoke. It really was just her singing that had stopped him. Mentor had only intended on passing by the river, maybe stop for a drink, after having left the Hidden Springs.
"Strangely enough, it was your singing that made me stop. I had every intention of just passing through. You must be a truly exceptional siren to have caught me," he said with a light-hearted laugh. It was the truth, for in most situations Mentor would not have stopped.
