Rosa narrowed her brilliant blue eyes at the black creature before them, warding away the evil mentally. The wind blew fiercely, ruffling the fem's fluffy reds, peaches, and whites. With it came a scent, and the red wolf turned her gaze to the distance. On a hill, perched, watching was a wolf. Undoubtedly the one call Katannah. The little black beast had a hint of that same scent the wind held. However, the wolfess on the hill showed no intention of lingering. She turned her blue eyes to the creature and spoke with a soft deliberate tone.
"Your master does not want you here."
Turning toward Shuriken, Rosa's red ears flattened back in shame. "No," she said slowly. "It was me. I heard a snapping sound and stood up. It was the young one here I saw, but still I startled the deer. It would have been easier if I hadn't been there. I will repay you."
