A sea of deer came her way, yet the delicate red wolf stayed standing where she'd been, brilliant blue eyes keeping their gaze. Rosa'd long since shed off her fright of moving objects. Once upon a time, she'd fought in battle beside her knight, swimming in a sea of men an fire and caos. In comparison to that, the deer were but a winter breeze that ruffled her coat as it swept by.
One was left. A single doe struggling in the hold of two wolves, one rather young. She watched, thinking to herself that this was probably a lesson, a hunt to better the small wolf's chances of survival... Something she'd never had to worry about in her life. Since she was a pup, Rosa was fed by hand until she was old enough to hunt. And then, even then, her knight had been more than willing to supply what she needed and wanted if be the case. The thought caused an inner smile, blessed memories, would she ever have any as grand? A sigh, rather audible and a dropping of her expression.
Red hued ears flicked in a different direction now, voices. One quite female the other of raspy male. Surprise hit her suddenly as an aura tainted in shadow touched her. Until then, she'd thought this world incapable of such things, but as her eyes fixed on the dark little creature, it was confirmed. Naked to a normal eye, she saw the fierce power rising off the beast. It reached out, touching everything about it.. Many never knew what caused that sense of fear or weariness when approached by a stranger, but Rosa did... All too well.
A shudder crept down the fey's spine as the darkness swept her way, threatening to touch her, to take her mind from her and make it its own. Narrowing her eyes, she stood strong against it. Evil was powerful, but she'd seen it before in much worse form. Stength of mind and body, together formed from years of experiences unfathomable to this world, had shaped her soul against such evils. Radiating her own powerful aura, little could break through to tarnish it.
Brushing off such thoughts, the red wolfess put on heirs and took dainty steps until she was upon the group. They were pretty much alone now, the doe, the two wolf males, the beast, herself... and the other lingered some distance away. Standing behind the older of the two brutes she averted her eyes in embarrassment. "No, I believe it is my fault," Rosa said softly, blushing under her fur.
Brilliant blue eyes flicked upon the brute momentarily taking in his every form. The roman numeral IV and wing marks above his shoulders did not go unnoticed. And his aura.. On the fence. A neutral gray, on of undecided means. He was delicate despite his physical strength. Much like... The past belonged in the past, personal feelings must be put to rest. Only the stories should live on and so her mind tore itself away from those thoughts.
"I'm sorry," she continued. "I may have startled them." Soft peach fur mixed with the white and red along her top as a wind brushed through the woods and howled in the clearing.
