Katannah seeming to be lost in her thought looked at the slightly smaller than she ravin grythdragon. This small creature was more vicious than she...it was an interesting thing...always next to the nearly completely feathered creature she seemed angelic. Endless' feathers covered black dull scales, he's killed three times already...There are still many months left in his development which makes Katannah a little worried about the creature she's raising. But until the full reason she'd happened on the egg was revealed to her she would simply go with the flow.
The two walked in near silence until it came to her attention that she'd stumbled on a hunt in progress..that her presence may have interrupted. Her stroll was simply to see what she'd hidden from for so long. The clouds of smoke and ash finally had settled and the mountain missing it's top was very visible..she was responsible in part for the ugly skyline. The Femmora sighed to herself as she was being tapped by her companion
"What is it Endless" She asked in her usually silky smooth voice. Katannah hadn't changed much physically since the eruption..she was slightly more muscular than before. Her face still young and ageless her tail as bushy as any fully flowered bush.
"We seemed to have caused trouble" he spoke in his raspy voice. The raven looking creature was learning speech very quickly and was happy with learning how to communicate with his pray before killing it. He laughed at the most gruesome of things and found funny the raunchiest of jokes. Still he obeyed the commands of Katannah even if she was trying to redeem herself...he knew she would eventually find her equilibrium and return to the darkness that led her to him. "Should I go help?" he asked looking at her with a thirst for blood.
Katannah knew he only wanted to kill and that was his reason for wanting to help...but what ever the reason the two thoughts came together and so she nodded for Endless to help.
He'd been itching to kill for several weeks now...this was his chance. Flapping his feathery wings he headed to where the two wolves were holding on to a doe...who smelled...yep smelled hurt. That was the best kind...and so easy to bring down...provided you are not surprised. He swooped in lowering himself on the upper back of the creature and put his beak into the neck...closing his beak shut it snapped the spine in two...along with the spinal cord inside...causing the drop.
Katannah watched all of this from afar just close enough to recognize...if any recognized her but far enough to be questioned...it was so Endless would leave after making his kill.
"It seemed we'd messed up your hunt...so I was sent to help secure it" Endless raspingly said as he hopped off the doe and licked his lips. "Now I should return to my owner" he said in getting prepared to leave...he was sure Katannah didn't want any attention while out but he wasn't so willing to simply leave...she'd been his only contact...but here were others...like her but not at the same time...his curiosity would keep him there...and thus his master along side of him.
