The leaves were changing..as winter approached here it was more evident to the green tigress that hunts would become more and more at night. Taniku stood out in the reds and yellows...mixed browns and Oranges...this should only test the feline. If She was hunting then she would be tested and she would find herself a way not to be spotted. This was for leisure. With Pevency in the river next to her she was sure the pure Aqua would be watching for her care taker. Taniku walked quietly even the crunching of the leaves were muffled beneath her paws.
Her fur was thickening and yet even slowly it was beginning to change colors. Slow enough that the Tiger didn't notice her green fur slowly shifting to lighter and lighter green. Or as her dark green stripe grew darker and darker. None of this would last long probably just for the winter and it won't get to noticeable. Taniku found a sunny spot just at the edge of the river and lay to soak the rays. She closed her eyes for a little catnip...she didn't worry much about Travesty or Yiska those cubs were very smart and unusually like their father preferring to be alone.
