Cay bristled and almost ran. The river was close, ice could break and Cay was... Let's say that Cay has unusual talents. Fortunately, self control was one of them. And besides, she wanted to cause a little problems herself. It started with ditching Karuma, but that seemed impossible at this moment.
"Oh, so you know her?" Cay said, perfectly composing interest. Lying, as you well know, is anything any worthy member of the fox family can do.
"No," replied the wolf. She spoke as if she was alive and Rosie was the ghost. "W-Who is Skott?"

Cay's concerned glance made Karuma feel even more upset. She didn't want to make Cay worry. Unfortunately, she could not apologize in front of strangers--matters of friendship were to be kept quiet.
