Unspotted and curious

Avalanche slowly backs off as he reminds himself that he would easily lose the fight. The wolf stands up straight, lowers his hackles and slowly closes his mouth, still cautious that the creatures could attack at any moment. He takes small sniffs of air to smell any sence of fear or anger. He tenses unsure what to do, and slowly moves towards the creatures. "I am sorry if i startled you there. I mean no harm, but.. What are you?" He slowly backs away, unsure if they will attack. For all he knows, he could be lunch.
