The jet-black wolfess ran lightly along the riverbank, heading downstream. Her soft pelt shone darkly in the sunlight and she watched the fish swimming in the water carefully with great intrest.
She decided that she would stop and take a drink of the glitening liquid that carved it's way so freely through the landscape. Then, she leaned over the edge of the river and looked upon a reflection of herself, shattering it into a set of balanced ripples that broke the quiet, mirror-like surface as she dipped her muzzle slightly below the surfaced and lapped up a few orbs of the crystal water. It's cool, refreshing taste matched the cripsness in the air. It was somewhat soothing, she thought, and when she raised her head up from the stream, she noticed she wasn't the only one at the stream; There were two flame-colored wolves in her presence. She determined that they looked kind and friendly and went over to say hello.
"Hey there!" She called to them, greeting through warm, rain-blue eyes. She trotted a few step closer within a more reasonable conversation distance.
