Kage leaned back and stretched his front paws out, muscles and bone popping a little as they fit back into place. He gave Hayden a smile and shook off his coat. "Fish sounds like a good idea," he said, fancying the light meat ever since he had caught a glimpse of the pantheress last night. He turned to the river, looking for a shallow part. Stepping over the rocky beach that made a bank, Kage waded into the water steadily. His mismatched eyes watched as little silvery fish swarm here and there. He waited until a decent sized one swam dangerously close to his paws, then plunged his face into the water. He emerged from the dark surface with a silver blue fish the size of a rabbit.
With quite the bit of splashing, he made his way out of the water with his prize and over to Hayden. Placing the fish at her feet, he went splashing back into the water to find his own.
