Seeing your comments about the Legendry test message, made me think of one of the earliest Test Messages I can remember. It was in 1937 and Arther Askey, a lovely comedian of his day, was doing his Variety Show from the stage of the Clapham Hippodrome as it was then.Its now a very successful middle aged ladies Tea shop and Dental Surgery. But anyway he used for the very first time "Can you hear me at the back Mother". How we howled with laughter all the way home that night.
Anyway this is a wonderful website full of boats and things well done.
