Peter, I have just visited Hong Kong. I contacted the tourist board and told them I wanted to take a walking tour of the site of the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941. They put me in touch with a local historian, who took me on an exeptional 4 hour walking tour - he is extremely knowledgeable about the events of December 1941 and I found his tour excellent. Let me know if interested, and I will send you his contact details.
