The Roger Nobiss I know of and met and talked to a few times many years ago was my dad Harry Nobiss's brother. As far as I know there was no brother named George. There were only 4 brothers in my dad's family;Roger, the oldest, then Harry my dad,then Maxime, then the youngest Patrick,who just died afew years ago.They all s erved in the army in WW2 and Roger was a prosoner of war in Hong Kong. I have a picture of all four brothers in uniform that was published in the Wpg,Free Press after they had just signed up as it was unusual I guess.Now my uncle may or not be your grandfather.But I don't know of any other Roger Nobiss who was a POW in WW2,survived and came home.If you have any other info. you can email me. --Previous Message--: he is my grandfather, he was a prisoner of war : in the omine camps he also had a brother : george(art)nobiss at the niigata prison.... : any ihfo on either soldier would be greatly : excepted. and if you had pictures or know of : who would i would also like that. :
