Dear Ed: Thankyou for your reply to my request for information on my father. Could you please tell me what he was like during the time you knew him and if he talked about his family. As I said in my previous message, he did not talk about his experiences very much during the time he was away and because I was not born until 1949 I grew up not knowing much about what he went through. I am doing my family tree and would be interested in knowing more about my father during his military years. Thankyou again. Lynn Clark

: Hello: My name is Lynn (Temple) Clark and I
: am
: looking for information on my father. He was
: a LCPL in the Winnipeg Grenadiers. He was
: captured and sent on the prison ship Naura
: Maru to Japan on April 29/44. He was a
: prisoner in Sendai camp #2. He did not talk
: much about his experiences during that time
: but I do remember his nightmares very
: vividly during my growing up years in
: Winnipeg. He had a very close friend that I
: met many times and kept in contact with
: until a few years ago. His name was Ernest
: McFarland. My dad was often referred by his
: nickname Scotty and Ernest by his nickname
: Spanky. Spanky sent me some photos many
: years ago that were taken in Jamaica. If you
: remember my dad please contact me.
: Thankyou..Lynn Clark
