I have taught at Carleton University for 30 years.
Our World War II veterans deserve our support. The
atrocities that our Canadian soldiers experienced at the hand of the Japanese in World War II should be remembered by a monument in Ottawa. Those brave
soldiers need to be remembered. Tjhe soldiers often
do not report the atrocities that they experienced.
It is too painful. Canadians must support the erection of this monument. Do it now. Memories fade and many of these veterans are dieing. Do not forget them. Our Canadian soldiers.
