Hello:
My Father was a Winnipeg Grenadier and he was a Hong Kong Veteran. His name was George Alfred Temple aka Guy Albert Temple. He was a prisoner of war in Japan for 4 years. He was known by his nickname Scotty. He was born in 1913 and died in 1979 in British Columbia. If anyone knew him please contact me. I have not been back to Winnipeg for many years, but would like to thank you and the Royal Winnipeg Rifles Band for honoring my father and the men of the Winnipeg Grenadiers with the placing of a Memorial Plaque at Brookside Cemetary. I will be sure to go and see it if I ever go back to Winnipeg some day. Thankyou Lynn (Temple) Clark
