Posted by Jacey Boggs on 11/30/2002, 5:28 pm we recently moved from missouri to the bay area, ca. in missouri, she had room to play and run, she was very happy, we all were. since our move to SF 3 months ago, things have been very different. she no longer has any space to run. we have a tiny house and no yard. we are gone often. she and walter deserve more. if we thought that there was a chance we'd be able to give them what the need and so desperately want, anytime soon, we'd never ever give them up. ever. the fact is, we probably won't be able to that. after much deliberation (and crying) we have decided to try to find her a home where she'll be happy. we keep telling ourselves it's the right thing to do. her feelings are more important than ours right? we love her a great deal so please be sure that you want this breed and this dog. i don't want to put an ad in the paper for fear someone will think she's cute but not realize what these great dogs deserve and need. do you have the perfect home for betty? belove is a link to 7 pictures of betty (and a few of walter). aren't they sweet! thanks

for 2 years my family has enjoyed and loved bettina (a lovely spayed female griffon and a wiemaraner - walter). she is wonderful, sweet, loving, playful, beautiful, needy of people, and eager to be please her human companions.
she is friendly to male dogs but has 'slight to medium' (trainer's words) aggression to female dogs. she chases cats (go figure huh?). she is great with kids and babies (we have a 11 month old). she gaurds the baby but skeedaddles when he tries to grab her. she is an inside dog but loves to lay outside. she loves to ride in the car with her hair blowing in the wind.
this is the hardest thing to do. it's breaking our hearts. we need to find a wonderful home for her.
