Posted by Jeffrey on 6/7/2006, 7:30 pm We've never hunted with him, but loves to retrieve in and out of the water and he points rabbits and squirrels in our city neighborhood. We're a pretty active family and Zilpo is used to two fairly long walks or runs each day, year around. Zilpo is very tolerant and gentle with our two young boys and he is good with most other dogs. It is with sadness that we post this message, but we're hopeful that we'll find just the right new home for Zilpo. We're willing to bring him within a day's drive of western Michigan to the right person or family. Almost exactly seven years ago we brought home a young Griffon from a nearby shelter. Now, we're facing a job change and a move later this summer, and we need to find a new home for our Griffon, Zilpo, a neutered male. Because he was a shelter dog we don't know his exact age or anything about his parentage, but he is about eight and is in excellent health.
