Hi,
I just saw your posting on this website and wanted to contact you. We have a 7 year old Griffon, male and un-neutered. His name is Bishop and we purchased him from Meg Romanowski who lives in Eastern PA. If you are familiar with her she is a very respected breeder in the Griffon circle. We searched a long time for our puppy and found this to be the best fit. Fast forward 7 years, Bishop is now a fully trained upland game dog, has an average of 40-50 birds shot over him per year and is a wonderful field and home companion. We have a second dog as well, an English Labrador, as well as two children under the age of 3. The kids are getting too bumped around with two dogs and we are faced with the decision of giving one up. Our Lab is 10 years old. Bishop is trained to obey an invisible fence. He is trained to obey remote transmitter hunting collars. He is trained with the use of a beeper pointer collar. He is a great guard dog, barking anyway, he has never made an agressive motion in his life towards a human, be it adult or child. Our children play with him always as do our friends children. If you have a stick, please be prepared to throw it far, and about 50 times, as he rarely gets tired.
If you are interested in our dog please contact us, my name is Greg Callaghan gcalahan@rrcol.com, and my wife Danielle, dcallaghan@columbus.rr.com. We can certainly send you digital pictures if you would like.
