Hi There-
I am writing this as Lori Shavalier called me yesterday and ask me to send out a "feeler of interest" to those of you on my address list of breeders of (any breed) in Western Michigan with 2005 foals to sell.
All I can give you is "proposed" information as she gave to me, but it did sound pretty good. All I am asking is that you email Lori if your interested with your contact information--including
your name,
address/e-mail address
home phone/cell phone numbers
number of foals you have to sell per this sale

**** What we know for sure, and folks have spoken for to do for us--- so far:
1. The sale barn in Revenna, MI--with auctioneeer, and sale barn staff
2. One Saturday in October would be the date.
****Proposed:
1. Catalogue fee would be somewhere between $25 and $40 per foal
2. None or very Low commision and selling fee. Pass out (no sale fee) would be very low.
3. We're trying to get Vetrenarian on grounds to pull Coggins tests as they come off the trailers.NO PROMISES HERE THO.
4. Possibly sell yearlings and older horses after the weanlings are sold.
Thats about it folks--we know there are people looking for foals, and if we get them all together in a Production sale, at one location---its alot easier for folks to look at them --- then to call all over and travel to individual farms. It helps you the breeder and them the buyer.
