your Grandfather repoted onboard USS TRITON (SSRN586) as a Nuclear trained Electrician EM2on 5 June 1961 at Groton.CT. I was no longer onboard,so I did not serve with him. This info is from official Navy manning documents. Hopefully, some ofd his shipmates can fill you in on his career. USS TRITON has not been sunk. It is in the shipyard at Bremerton WA, awaiting disposal.
