Mac was very special to all of us. I don't think there was anyone he didn't get along with. I can still see him sitting calmly in er2 control room telling ken manchester and myself to start #4 Generator, then restart #4 generator and then restart it a third time after our double plant scram. Most people would have shown some anxiety about that time but Mac kept his cool through it all. I would have followed him anywhere. My best to Peggy and their family.
