Shipmates,
The Cavalla Historical Foundation, which is responsible for the restoration of the USS CAVALA (SS244) located at SeaWolf Park in Galveston, TX is also buikding a submarine museum and constructing a WWII Circle of Honor.
The Circle of Honor will contain 52 plaques in rememberance of the 52 boats lost during the war. I have commited to sponsoring the Triton (SS201) plaque at a cost of $400.00. If anyone would like to join in sponsoring the plaque please send me a check made out to the Cavalla Historical Foundation. Any amount works.
When the museum is completed there will be a list of those who sponsored the palque. I propose to have our read "Crew of the USS Triton (SSN586)
