I remember reading a book called "Around the World Submerged" by Captain Edward L. Beach, when I was fifteen years of age. That book completely changed my life forever and sent me in a direction I could never have guessed. It put me into contact with many of the Triton's crew and I am proud to say a lot of them are my friends today.
I had the wonderful fortune to be in contact with Captain Beach over the years and it was my privilage to meet him at the 2000 Triton reunion.
My life would not be what it is today if not for Captain Beach and his wonderful ability to share his experiences with others through his words.
Sailor rest your oar! You are in great company.
Respectfully,
Garry Gray
