Was very sorry to hear of Tom's joining our other good shipmates on eternal patrol. Not having seen him for about 42 years, I will always remember him as a handsome young blonde officer who performed his duties well, providing great leadership to those under him. I had hoped to see him at our next reunion and am much disappointed that he won't be there. I extend my most heartfelt sympathies to his family.
