I received a call from Sarah Pfeiffer (Wife) informing me that ENC(SS) Robert S. Pfeiffer had a massive heart attack and passed away September 23, 1983. After retiring from the Navy his passion was fishing and he was fishing on Lake Moultrie near Charleston, SC at the time of his heart attack. He was cremated and his ashes spread at sea by the USS Thomas Jefferson. She asked that he be remembered in our memorials.
