Was original crew member. The best of my knowledge is the reactor was designed by GE at Knolls Atomic Lab. The uniqueness was two reactors with ability to cross connect steam systems. I do beleive this design was used on the D1G. Actually all reactor systems on naval vessels are of the pressurized water type. The Triton had the first skewed core design.
