Posted by Cat Is this typical after feeding a high protein feed to angora's or is it just my goats? I fed them Ranch-way goat chow at 16% protein with kelp added for 6 weeks. I normally do not feed any grain, sometimes carrots but, just good alfalfa/grass hay. I live in high and dry Wyoming with 14 inches of moisture anually. They are regulary de-louised and wormed. After I flushed my does I noticed that they had developed a lot of dandruff, their fleece was noticeable more oily feeling.
