I have a 4 month old angora goat doe whom we just separated from her mother because we have sold her mother and wanted the weaning to take place before she left the farm. The kid is in with our other kid goats, including anogras (all bottle fed babies). No one is picking on her. The first couple of days she cried back and forth with the mom. Now the third day she acts more content being in the the kids. What signs of stress should I be watching for her? She doesn't seem to be eating much but when she was first put in there she ate more grain than she had in the past since she didn't have to compete for it with the adults. I've been watching how much hay she is eating and she is just occasionally nibbling. It has only been 3 days since she had been weaned. Advice?
