I definatly wouldn't treat lice with a pour on product unless you want to loose an inch or two on the fleece from shearing the drenched part off. We did that one year and we got counted off for the quality of the fleece. The BEST option for treating lice is to use a garden supply dusting product- Savin. Its normally used for controlling garden pests, but it is very efficiant in controlling the lice on goats. I usually use it on both the Cashmeres and Angora goats. It works wonders. Just dust the goat lightly with the savin (right after it has been shorn for best results) and make sure to put some on your hand and dust the underside of the goat too. Just dont use close to the face.
: How often can/should you treat lice on angora
: goats with ivomec pour on?
