Fair enough! im glad we can treat this as a debate and not anything worse.Looking back at the way i put the advert it did look like a bad advert. Over the past 3 months we have had problems completing our line up and we have got together almost 20 songs and most of them seemed to be in a grunge style, i myself as a writer have taken influence from everthing from BLACK SABBATH, BAD BRAINS too even LE TIGRE and of course PUMPKINS, NIRVANA.I know! your thinking what the fresh hell have F#####G LE TIGRE got to do with any of this,but like it or not they do have a link to grunge past as SABBATH & BAD BRAINS do in paving some of the way, so we thought it would be easy to just say grunge,problem is some people need it pointing out as i have had many calls from people saying their influences are indie rock which today could mean anything. Im glad you have spoke up as you have made a lot of sense and i hate to say it you were right about many things.Manchester is not the same as it used to be, i still rember days when people would turn out to gigs by the SRAP ONS & SONAR YEN and of course TSUJI GIRI and those were much better days wich seem to be lost due to vastly overrated club nights like aA and BLOWOUT.Nobody seems to be arsed about music anymore and overpraised groups like AUTOKAT & LOOSE CANNON seem to rule the roost when all their doing is playing to a crowd of scene hangers on,i dont know if you are a fan of those groups but i really dont like what their doing. thanks!
