On these four albums(I'm lumping 'come on pilgrim' in with them 'cause most people will have it as part of the Sufer Rosa album) there are 65 songs. If we're very generous to them and say that there are on average 8 Amazing songs on each, the then that leaves 33 songs that fall short of the mark - a clear majority of their output veering towards the mediocre. Therefore the pixies are crap.

The Pixies (possible contender for my favourite band even after having so much time to get bored of them) made two and a half great albums off each of which there are five or six songs you really love, the rest have bits you like and the others are skipped or you make a brew. That leaves half of Trompe La Monde and Most of Bossa Nova which I don't think even pixies mega-fans would work up a sweat to defend.
