Jeff was good looking man,was muscular built, and stood 5ft11. Needing a little time to get away from the stress of life. He loaded up his yacht and set sail south, for warmer waters. After a few days out on the gentle ocean, and thousands of miles away from land. He was enjoying himself, relaxed and at peace. The wave gently lapped against the sides of the yacht, and a gently breeze filled the air. Jeff dropped anchor in a shallow part of the ocean, then sat on the bench looking at cloudy sky sipping on a beer. He closed his eyes and went to sleep to the gentle rocking motion of the yacht. A few hours had passed, but more clouds rolled in and gotten darker. The gentle wind picked up. A loud deep rumble fill the sky, startling Jeff from his deep slumber. He looked to the sky, and it was growing dark with clouds, and gentle wind was starting to blow harder.
"OH CRAP!" He said seeing a flash of lightening in the distance.
Running forward he pulled the anchor, and secured it. Then ran to the wheel house and started up the engine. Looking at the sky, he noticed the whole storm had encircled him.
"Which way.....which way? The whole storm is around me" He said to himself.
Not really caring he pushed the speed levers forward on the engines. The yacht move slowly forward. Turning the wheel hard to the left, he knew he had to get out of the shallows, before the waves got to ruff and the bottom of the boat would run aground. Making out for deeper water, the waves grew higher, and rougher. With in moments the waves were crashing over the bow. But the little yacht continued to sail. Jeff holding on to the wheel, leaned left to right to the rocking motion of the boat. Then out of the darkness rose a wave higher then he had ever seen. He turned the wheel attempting to head straight into it, so the boat would not capsize. But it was to late. The wave slammed into the side. Jeff and boat were turned over.
