Then everything shut down. The generator whined down, the laser beam faded away from the laser cannon. Even the rumbling fade from Lana. Just dead silence. Everyone looked at each other with confusion. Essex started to speak.
"What is.."
"SSSHHHHH! Listen." Marty intrupted
Still everything remained silent. Lana got out of her slight crouch postion, also looking confused.
"I've stopped. I've stopped growing!" Her voice thundered threw the lab.
"Good it's over. Lana won't be getting any larger." Marty said.
But in the adjoining room. The computer was making beeps and clicks, the computer screen was showing a bunch of number like calculation, formulas. Marty went into investigate
"What is going on?" He asked himself.
The computer continued to run calculations. Gina peered threw the doorway.
"What is going on Marty?" She asked.
"I...I don't no." He answered.
Then the computer screen showed flashing words in large bold letters "FINAL STAGE ENGAGEING"
The generator started to power up. Starting out at a low tone pitch, but started to gain pitch as the generators speed increased. The laser cannon was firing up again, the tip now glowing a deep pulsating red. Lana looking at the cannon smirked. Marty running to the door way. Yelled to Lana.
"Lana! Get out of it's aim!"
The generator continued to gain pitch, the tip of the laser cannon grew brighter. The cannon made a quick low tone to high tone. A beam fired directly at Lana. Again engulfing her in a red pulsating glow and sound. Lana again went into a crouch like stance, the rumbling instantly returned. Her size was increase more.
"It's working.....It working! I'm getting even bigger!"
13ft....14ft....15ft.
All three of stepped back and watched as Lana grew at alarming rate.
16ft....17ft....18ft.
"Look at the size me! I'm getting so big!" Lana said.
19ft.....20ft
"We better get out before she starts pushing threw the roof." Essex said.
