Posted by Grey Bruce Owen Sound Football The first meeting for the Grey Bruce Owen Sound Football Club is to be held exactly one week from today, on Friday, March 3, 2006 7:00 pm at Montana's Bar and Grill (1555 18th Ave. E.), all interested people are welcome! The chair for the meeting will be Dave Carriere, Andrew Gardner will represent WHSS on the board, Greg Slater will represent OSCVI on the board and Kyle Jackson will represent SMHS on the board, Dave Breadner and Joshua Eriksen have agreed to stand as directors of the board at large, directors to represent GHSS, JDSS and SDSS on the board will join on later. The top three issues that will be dealt with on the first agenda are:
1. Does Grey-Bruce-Owen Sound want a Major Amateur Football club which will join the Canadian Major Football League and Northern Football Conference?
2. Will the football club in Grey-Bruce-Owen Sound approve the nick name Cattlemen, Wildcats or other?
3. Who else wishes to sit on the interim executive of the football club in Grey-Bruce-Owen Sound?
Because of possible seating limitations, we must know how many people are coming to this event so we can plan ahead for the type of venue we will need, therefore please give us the names, phone numbers and email addresses of those you know are coming advance so we can keep everyone in the loop on this excellent opportunity to make this area more known across Ontario and Canada.
