Any player (Male or Female) who's name appears on a roster that is suspended because of a/the team/player owes money to any U.S.S.S.A. Director, U.S.S.S.A. National Office,Park or Complex as a result of a U.S.S.S.A. sanctioned event, no show, bad check, returned check, stop payment on a check, left a tournament owing all or part of the entrance fee or any other
reason can be protested. If a player is protested and found to be on any money owing
suspended roster, player IS ejected from game in progress. Player can pay fees due, in
cash, if player or team pays fees due player can play in the teams "NEXT" scheduled game.
Under "NO" conditions can player play in game that player was protested in. If player or team neither will pay fees due, both player AND team are ejected from tournament with "NO" refund, all teams remaining games in tournament are forfeited. Player did not have to play in that particular tournament.
If players name is on roster player is considered to have played. Exception: Player has a signed, dated, release on file at Ga. USSSA STATE Office before the money became due.
It is the teams and players responsibility to know if a player is on a roster that owes money. Not knowing that a player or team owes money does not relieve team or player
of the penalty of this rule. If player has made previous arrangements with Person owed to pay all fees due that cancels protest. If
Person owed can NOT be contacted "right then" fees will be considered as still due
unless player has a signed receipt. If fee has already been paid protest is not valid.
If player was in previous game for one pitch player and/or team still must pay. Before a game starts, if a team protest that money owing player played (1) pitch in previous game team or player MUST pay fees and player can NOT play in that game and protesting team automatically become Home team.
This rule may be updated/changed at ANY time.
