I am researching these surnames from Walton or nearby counties.
My Great Grandfather was W. D. Stone who lived in the area of Walton county in the 1880s.
He married Nancy Rebecca Wells b. 1862. She lived in Newton and Walton co.
Their son,my Grandfather,George Edward Stone was born 1887 in Walton co GA.
W. D. Stone died at a young age, probably in the late 1880s or early 1890s. His gravesite is somewhere in this area but I have been unable to find the location.
I will be glad to share what information I have and would welcome any information on these families from this area.
