I'm trying to get any information I can on my Gr.Gr.Gr.Gr.Grandfather James D. Lowe of the Warren county region in the later part of the 1700's. I descend from his son James D. Lowe Jr. born 02 Nov.1796 and married October 03, 1820 Warren County to Elizabeth Jenkins, she was born August 05, 1798, they moved on to Pickens county, Alabama about 1822. Elizabeth's parents were Arthur Jenkins and Sarah L. Morris married November 26, 1785. Arthur Jenkins shares a prominent spot along with a William Lowe on a marker on the Warrenton Courthouse lawn for Revolutionary solders of the county. It's my belief that the William Lowe on that marker could very well be the father to James D. Lowe.
