Deb Ola Haynes (?) married Tom Crain. They are my grandparents. She was 15 when they married. Her family history is nearly nonexistent. When she applied for social security she found that her birth records had been burned in a court house fire. We think she grew up in the Commerce area. The Crains were in Monroe and Gainesville, GA. When I was very young I asked her mother's name. She said that it was Molly Coker. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and she was not happy with her step father. We have a photo of her with two of her sisters. I know she had at least one brother. I haven't had time to focus on the hunt yet. I plan to look for wills and families in the census that might connect. If any of this sounds familiar, please get in touch with me.
